Du the Polar Bear Duathlon

Come enter the annual "Du the Polar Bear" Duathlon (formerly Frost Yer
Fanny!) set for Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Race Site is
located at Bear Creek Park in west Houston!! This 3 mile run, 15 mile bike,
2 mile run is an awesome addition to the Duathlon events in the greater
Houston area. This duathlon is co-produced by Outloud! Productions and
Bicycle World & Fitness.
REGISTRATION
Entry fees and categories are listed
below:
- Individuals $45 thru January 25 2012,
- $55 thru Febrary 19th.
- $60 February 20-25, 2012!
- Relays $30 until January 25, 2012
- $35 thru February 19, 2012
- $40 February 20-25, 2012
- Youth (age 17 and below) $25 until January 25, 2012,

USAT
membership is a separate registration-if not an annual member, you will sign
up for a one day membership at packet pickup. The one day membership is now
$10 and is only available at packet pickup.

This is mandatory-either a one day
license or an annual license for each participant, including ALL relay

LOCATION
This duathlon will take place at Bear Creek
Pioneers Park, located off Bear Creek Drive between Clay Road and Patterson
Road. The start and finish will be at Pavilion #6. The start time for the
race is at 8:00 am!

HOST HOTEL
The host hotel and conference setting is
the newly renovated Omni Westside Hotel, located at 13210 Katy Freeway,
Houston, Texas 77079. Their phone number is 281-558-8338. This host hotel is
located less than 2 miles from the race site. The group rate is $99.

THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET
PICKUP. YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR OWN PACKET.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the overall male and
female winners, overall master's male and females, and the top 3 in each age
group and relay categories. These awards, as always, include plaques and
product prizes. Other door prizes will be raffled off by random race numbers
during the awards ceremony!
POST RACE PARTY
Bicycle World and Fitness will again
be sponsoring an awesome post race party with great food and drinks,
fantastic give-aways, and super awards! We'll have some great music playing
and have a good time under the pavilion!

TIMING
This will be a computer chip timed event that
will include splits for run/transition/bike/transition/run. Chips will be
picked up on race morning.

Ordinary Saints, a non-profit
dedicated to mobilizing young people for a lifetime of service to others,
and the Kempner High School Cross Country Team.
