WHAT IS THE RULE ON WET SUITS?

The water temperature in mid-June in Houston will always ensure that it is too warm for wet suits.

WILL THERE BE BIKE INSPECTIONS?

No

CAN ONE PERSON DO MORE THAN ONE EVENT FOR THEIR RELAY TEAM?

Yes, there can be 2 person relay teams.

CAN I GET A REFUND?

No, there are no refunds for any reason. We incur too many fixed expenses for that to happen. Don’t sign up unless you are reasonably certain you can do the race.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY PACKET FOR ME?

No, USA Triathlon rules dictate that the individual or relay participant pick up their own packet.

WHAT IS A USA TRIATHLON NUMBER?

The USA Triathlon number is a membership number given to annual members. You are required to be an annual member or buy a one day membership for $9 at packet pickup. You can register for your yearly membership at www.usatriathlon.org. You must provide your membership card at packet pickup or you will have to buy a one day pass, even if you are a current member-no exceptions.

WHERE DO I GET MY TIMING CHIP?

You will get your timing chip on race morning near the transition area. You must wear it the entire race AND turn it in just past the finish line. Participants who do not turn in their chip will be charged a fee of $30.

WHERE CAN I GET RACE PHOTOS?

You can go to www.karenthibodeaux.com the week following the race to view photos for purchase. Karen will also be emailing you with proofs for you to view.

WHEN WILL RACE RESULTS BE POSTED?

Race results are usually posted at www.runnertriathletenews.com by Sunday evening. They will be on the www.out-loud.org website by Monday night.
